  • The Government of Telangana School Education Department will conduct Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) 2022 also known as Telangana TET , as per the formalities laid down by the central regulating authorities. Telangana TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Telangana.
  • TSTET 2022 notification will be released by the Department of School Education, Telangana OR concerned examination board as directed by the Government of Telangana. TET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools run by the government and private managements. Candidates may be facilitated to apply online for this examination. Here are the details of the TSTET notification, syllabus, question pattern, eligibility details.

TSTET 2022 Exam Date:

The Schedule of TS-TET- 2017 is given below:

  • 23.07.2017 : Paper I : 9.30 A.M. to 12.00 Noon.
  • 23.07.2017 : Paper II : 2.30 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.

Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State for appearance in the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2022) to be
conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State on 23rd July 2019 in all 31 Districts of the State.

Minimum qualifications for TS-TET paper – I (Classes I to V):

Candidates should have following qualifications as prescribed by the NCTE. The State governments may change the qualifications and eligibility requirements as per the GOs issued by them.

  • Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

  • ) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2019).

Minimum qualifications for TS-TET paper – II (Classes VI to VIII):

  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of
    Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

OR

  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of
    Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

OR

  • 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.

OR

  • Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND
    Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

TSTET 2022 Exam pattern, Syllabus and Scheme:

TSTET Syllabus consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks totaling for 150 marks. Following are the details of question papers :

  1. Paper I Syllabus: To become teachers for classes I-V in Telangana primary school.
  2. Paper II Syllabus: To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Telangana upper primary school.
  3. Paper I and II: For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes.

TSTET or Telangana TET Result 2022 / Qualification Marks

  • More than 5 lakhs students of Telangana are waiting for the results, An TSTET candidate who scores 60% or more in Telangana TET  exam 2022 the exam will be considered as TSTET pass.
  • ·Telangana Govt May consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy of Telangana Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) 2022.
  • · TSTET Should give weightage to the  Telangana TET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the TSTET candidates would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria
    for appointment.
