Applications are invited by Rabindra Bharati University (RBU), for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Course commencing in the session April 2019.
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of RBU aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practicing teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage.

Duration of the Course: The minimum duration of the programme at RBU is one year.
Admission: Admission in B.Ed at RBU shall be done by the candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form.
RBU B.Ed admission Eligibility: Applicants should have Graduate / Hons. Graduate / Post graduate from any UGC recognized University With 50% Marks either in under Graduate and or / post graduate level (45% for SC ST).
How to apply in B.Ed at RBU:
- Attach the demand draft for Rs 100/- drawn in favour of Rabindra Bharati University, payable at Kolkata with the downloaded form.
- The duly filled in downloaded form along with the demand draft and the self attested copies of all the relevant mark sheets, certificates and other relevant documents, has to be submitted at the Office of the Secretary, Faculty Councils, 56-A, BT Road, Kolkata-700050, in person (not by post) between 11.30 a.m. and 05.00 p.m. on or before April, 2016.
B.Ed Examination:
- Examination is held on ten papers of 100 marks each, of which seven papers are theoretical and the remaining three are practical. Practical paper s include teaching practical, pedagogical and co-curricular activities, which are evaluated by both internal and external examiners.
